Purpose of Meditation: Connecting with God's Presence

Meditation is a spiritual practice that invites us to pause, reflect and focus on the presence of God in our lives. In our busy world, it can be easy to get distracted by the noise and demands around us, but meditation offers a sacred space where we intentionally quiet our hearts and minds.

Guided Meditation Practice

You will be invited to sit or lie comfortably, close your eyes (if you wish), and focus on a meaningful word or phrase. The goal is to quiet your mind and focus your attention back to a single point - your breath, a word of prayer or simply being present with God. When thoughts come, you'll notice them, but then return your focus to your breath or intention.

Common Fears or Misunderstandings

It's normal for your mind to wander, and that's okay! Meditation is not about perfection; It's about intention and presence. Think of it as a way to invite peace int your mind and heart, allowing you to focus on God's voice rather than being distracted by the busyness of life .
